LET ME TELL YOU A STORY

Hi fans. I heard some many frightening noises today. I did not like my morning walk.
I feel a story coming on. I want to tell you about myself. You can get the tissues ready.
Yes, although bonny, bright and cute, I was a rescued dog. Hic. I was bought (pedigree and kennel club registered) to be a companion for an older Yorkie. Alas the other Yorkie was jealous. I was sent to a home with two other dogs, who instantly disliked me. It is understandable in a way. I am so gorgeous. However, I was passed to another home, where a neighbour was jealous about my fine voice. I despaired.
Never give up HOPE. The very day I was referred to the 'Home A Dog Association', my two humans S and A applied to rescue a dog. When they saw me they fell in love. I went home with them that day.
I now have a wonderful home. My two humans are very biddable. They changed my name from Lulu to Lucy Pye (A is a mathematician).
However, a little of my legacy remains. Sometimes I am nervous. It just goes to show not every dog is absolutely perfect. ( Please do not tell my humans.)
Must go another walk.
Bye the noo.
Lucy Pye
